* Professor Witold Henisz is hiring 1-2 research assistants for paid positions of 10-20 hours per week
to conduct research on threats to the United States economy over the next 20 years. The research will
begin by identifying and summarizing existing scenario analyses, Delphi forecasts and other future efforts
to identify global risks. The student will support Professor Henisz in the development of an
interdisciplinary peer network of academics to offer insight into potentially emergent risks,
mechanisms to detect increases in their prominence and, most importantly, means to mitigate their
likelihood and/or likely impact. Wages range from $12-$15/hour (undergraduate) and $15-$20/hour (graduate).

* Professor Witold Henisz is seeking work-study eligible students interested in the
strategies pursued by private investors to minimize political, regulatory, societal
and reputational risks. Industries under study include oil, gas, mining, electricity
generation, cellular services, transportation services, agriculture and advanced life sciences.
Research may be conducted on line using various databases available through Lippincott Library.
Student will be part of a team researching influence activities by stakeholders and testing their efficacy.
Students may also be asked to perform some research to update cases used in MBA and undergraduate courses.
Excellent research, writing, inter-personal and computer skills are required as is a keen interest in the
intersection of strategic management and the business environment.

* Professor Hans Pennings is hiring 1-2 research assistants for paid positions
of 10-20 hours per week (with a lot of flexibility) to conduct research on the Photographic
Imaging Industry. We are researching the phenomena of technology convergence from multiple
perspectives in this sector over the last four decades. The student will support us through
data collection using electronic databases, trade publications, Internet and qualitative data analysis.
Qualifications include: enthusiasm for research; attention to detail; and organized worker.
